Whenever you’re working on marketing campaigns, it’s always important to have a certain goal in mind. You’ll want to make sure that you’re getting the results you expect. The objectives you set will then help you to work out what activity you need to do to get there. So let’s consider three different objectives that you could choose.
1. Drive Traffic
For a lot of businesses or bloggers, this is often going to be to get more traffic to their site. If you need to increase your viewing to get more sales or to launch a product, then this should be your goal. So, when it comes to the kind of activity you’re deciding to do, you need to make sure that the end result is going to bring traffic to your blog or website.
2. Increase Engagement
Or your marketing objective could be to increase engagement levels. Sometimes, you won’t need a lot of traffic if you have high engagement levels because you’ll be able to sell to your existing follower base. To successfully increase engagement, you’ll want to really focus on the kind of content you’re putting out in the hope that it will interest your audience.
3. Grow Your Following
And lastly, you may want to focus on growing your follower base. Maybe you know that you need a certain amount of followers before you can start to grow to the level that you want to be at. In this case, you’re going to want to set your goal as increasing your followers. You’ll want to focus on content that helps you grow your followers.
