My Marshmalloo Pillow Review

I was recently sent a sample Marshmalloo Pillow to review for The Creative Cottage blog. It was perfect timing as I needed a new pillow for my queen-size bed. My current foam pillows are getting a bit flat and way past their life expectancy.

I was gifted a queen-size pillow measuring 18″ x 29″ x 4″ and it came with a bonus pillow travel bag for taking the Marshmalloo pillow on the go. Once I removed all the packaging materials, the pillow fluffed up into a huge and extremely squishy soft pillow. It easily fits inside a queen size pillow cover. My only regret is that I didn’t get 2 of the pillows as now all my other, older pillows look like flat pancakes compared to the Marshmalloo pillow!
I’ve been using the pillow for about 2 weeks now and it is amazing. I live in hot and humid Florida and the pillow is very cooling, and stays cool during the night. No more waking up in a pool of sweat! The pillow is also really squishy and easily fluffs back up, unlike traditional foam pillows, which keep getting more and more flat and deflated the older they get.
My verdict – I give the Marshmalloo pillow an 8 out of 10. The only thing limiting it from a perfect 10 is, when I sleep on my side and my nose is up close to the pillow, I notice a very faint odor. I’m hoping this will go away in a few more days/weeks as the pillow continues to air out. But I mainly sleep on my back and usually don’t notice any smell.
