The bathroom is one of the most serene rooms in your home, from a spa-like design to something more modern. It’s the one room in your home that if you’ve had a hard day at the office you just can’t wait to come home and have a good soak in the bath. Or maybe it’s because there’s nothing you love more than rushing home after a sweaty gym session and jumping in the shower to clean up. Either way, we just know that in some way or another, we can all appreciate a great dream bathroom.
But a pleasant bathroom design might be something you don’t feel that you have. If you have lived in your home for a good few years now, and the bathroom has always been the way it is now from the moment you moved in, then you’re definitely due for a bit of an upgrade. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to go through a big renovation, it could just be some little changes that we know will make all of the difference.
So, we’re going to show you some of the ways that you can reach your dream bathroom goals, both with and without breaking the bank!
Tranquil Additions
The bathroom might just be the only place in your home that you can escape for five minutes for a bit of solitude, and if you aren’t feeling those tranquil vibes, you haven’t got the bathroom for you. So, one design theme that we love that we know gives off a tranquil vibe, is a natural one. Indoor plants are still in right now, and you can turn your bathroom into a green haven, without having to spend much money at all.
We also like the beach sort of vibe, with wooden paneled white painted accessories being really in right now. There are tons of little beach themed bathroom accessories that you could buy from websites on the internet, and they’re always going to go perfectly with that green natural vibe as well!
Going Big
Now for the big addition that’s going to make you dig into your pocket, but we just know it’ll be worth it if you haven’t updated your bathroom in a while. A full-on renovation might be a little disturbing for a while, but not only is it going to give you that dream bathroom goal, it’s going to add value to your home. But you’ll have to think about every little detail, from the vanity basins to the style of tap that you want, it’ll all have to be considered.
You might like to go for the double sink look, not only to make it more practical but also because it looks so much smarter. A good bathroom installer will help create a vision for you and turn it into something amazing!
