Technology might cost a fortune, and it’s opened up a whole world on the internet of online shopping and getting access to anything at any time. We probably spend more on takeaways and deliveries, online shopping and with things like Apple Pay and Paypal it has never been quicker or easier for us to part with our money. However, at the same time, the influx of technology has also meant that we can manage our money better and save money too. Read on to learn more about how you can use technology to help you make money.

Online Discounts

There are a number of discounts on things that you will only find online, and you can find them just by searching on a search engine and typing in what item you’re looking for followed by ‘discount code’ or ‘voucher’ or sale. The internet also allows you to compare prices and will find you the best option on what it is you’re looking to buy.

Budgeting

Today, there are plenty of apps which can help you to not only save money but to budget each month but to give you more of an idea of where you’re spending your money and how you can budget better each month. Find out which is the best budget app for you by downloading them and trailing them for a while. See how much you can save and how quickly you can turn your spending habits around.

Remote Work

The internet has given us the opportunity to work from anywhere using online technology. You can earn money as a Youtube star or a blogger or even as a virtual personal assistant. Remote work could be a full-time job. You can even make some income on the side doing surveys through sites like Clickworker which was based on the idea of ‘internet crowd-sourcing’ where businesses advertise specific, scalable tasks they need completing quickly.

If you’re looking for some extra work and some money, then this is an easy way to make fast cash from the comfort of your sofa. There are a variety of tasks available, but a lot of them involve mindless data entry, web research or form filling. It might be boring, but you’ll be rewarded and paid in cash (via PayPal) for the work you do, and you can choose what and when you work.

You could also have an online business, selling physical products but not having a physical shop. Have a look at sites like Etsy which allow you to sell your items online.

Sell Your Stuff

Websites such as eBay and Amazon are great for helping you part with your money and filling your house with things you don’t need, but they’re also a great help when decluttering and making money off your old stuff. You can also sell your old technology too, and even if it doesn’t work or is too old, you never know it could still be sold for parts. You’ll be surprised what people will buy online.
